Alexandra Noriega
Behavior Technician
Alexandra Noriega is a dedicated Behavioral Technician with a High School diploma, Certification in Physical Therapy Technician, and Certification in Group Exercise Instruction. Currently pursuing her college education, Alexandra finds immense joy in getting to know each client on an individual level and discovering their unique communication styles. She takes pride in helping clients transition from frustration to happiness as they improve their communication skills, embarking on a journey alongside the client and their support network.
Alexandra is passionate about many areas within her field, with significant experience working with the Autism population and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in both school and outpatient settings. She has developed a keen interest in myofunctional therapy and enjoys providing aquatic speech therapy to adults. Alexandra is committed to continuous learning, particularly in AAC, and aims to support her department in developing a teaching program for graduate students needing internships, believing in the importance of paying it forward to grow the field of therapy.
In her free time, Alexandra enjoys various outdoor activities, including hiking, soccer, fishing, and spending time at the beach. She loves skiing in the winter, white water rafting in the summer, participating in a women's choir, and traveling abroad as much as possible.
