
Micaela Mastrofrancesco – M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist
Micaela Mastrofrancesco is a well rounded Speech Language Pathologist who holds a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University. Her post-nominal initials, M.S., CCC-SLP, signify her expertise and commitment to the field.
Passionate about making a significant difference in the lives of her clients and their families, Micaela finds immense joy in her role as an SLP. She particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents, focusing on various areas such as Orofacial Myofunctional therapy, feeding and swallowing difficulties, communication improvement and support for both children and adults, aphasia, and voice disorders among the adult population.
In her pursuit of professional growth, Micaela plans to pursue additional certifications, including LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) trained, PROMPT trained, Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and training in FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) and MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) techniques. She also seeks continuing education opportunities in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Outside of her rewarding career, Micaela finds solace in spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes, staying active at the gym or through long walks, exploring new travel destinations, and relishing the serenity of the beach during the summer. Three fascinating facts about Micaela include her lifelong aspiration to become an SLP rooted in her upbringing with two deaf grandparents since 8th grade, she also has a passion for fitness and functional strength training, and she is the middle child in her family.
