Malisa Khamphouy is a compassionate Behavior Technician with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. She finds immense joy in establishing strong connections with the children she works with, and witnessing the positive impact her efforts have on both the children and their families. Making a difference in people’s lives is her true passion, and she derives happiness from helping others.

Malisa has ambitious plans for her future. She aspires to continue her education by pursuing graduate school to become a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Currently taking a semester off, she decided to gain valuable experience working with children as a BT/RBT, recognizing the importance of continuous learning throughout her academic break. Her goal is to leverage her knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as an SLP, enabling her to create a profound impact on her clients’ lives.

Outside of work, Malisa cherishes quality time with her family and friends. She takes pleasure in playing fetch with her dog and indulging in binge-watching sessions of Netflix shows. Criminal Minds holds a special place in her heart as her favorite show to immerse herself in. Additionally, she actively volunteers her time with organizations like the Greater New Haven Habitat for Humanity and the New Haven Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen, displaying her compassionate nature and commitment to serving her community.
