Alexis Byer-Alcorace is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Master’s of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. With her post-nominal initials MS, CCC-SLP, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her field. While Alexis has primarily worked with children with Autism, her passion for communication impairments extends to all individuals in need. She thrives on the opportunity to collaborate closely with families, providing education and support while fostering a strong sense of teamwork.
In her future career, Alexis has plans to further her training and education in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), recognizing its vital role in facilitating communication for individuals with complex needs.
Outside of work, Alexis finds joy in spending quality time with her family, engaging in regular exercise, immersing herself in nature’s beauty, singing, and exploring different corners of the world through travel. She also continues to showcase her athletic prowess by participating in women’s soccer leagues. Additionally, Alexis possesses a talent for speaking French, adding a touch of linguistic diversity to her repertoire.
